First day (sniff) of school (sniff, sniff)

Carolyn officially started school.

It wasn't nearly as emotional as I thought it would be. For one, she's going two days a week for only to hours a day. That's just a tad longer than story hour.

For two, she's totally excited about the idea school. The teacher and kids and songs and reading. After her nap that day, the first thing she wanted to do was "talk to daddy on the phone."

"Daddy, I went to school. Daddy, I went to school. Daddy....."

You see where this is going.

And here's the little secret — when she's at school, I get to go to the pool with Penny. Not this week because I'm really busy, but one day. Here's a pic of Penny and Steve at the pool, just because I love that little bathing suit.
